West Union Drug Bust
After a week long investigation the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office and the West Union Police Department executed a search warrant at 100 E Franklin Street in West Union, on Monday, November 25th at 3:00 P.M. Deputies and Officers searched the residence of Misty June Marie Morrissey (Cook), age 36 and Todd Michael Henriksen, age 25 both formerly from Waterloo but now living in West Union.
The investigation uncovered an operation of possession/sales of Methamphetamine and marijuana over the last few months. Deputies recovered a large amount of cash, drugs, digital scales, packaging and evidence showing the distribution of controlled substances.
The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested Morrissey and charged her with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (Crystal Meth) a class “C” felony, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, a class “D” Felony, ongoing criminal conduct, a Class “B” felony and possession of drug paraphernalia. If she is convicted on all counts could serve up to 50 years in prison.
Henriksen was also arrested and charged with delivery of a controlled substance (Cystal Meth) a class “C” felony, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance marijuana, a class “D” felony and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted on all counts could face up to 15 years in prison.
Investigators will be going over all the evidence and more people and charges could be filed at a later date.
